Smut Fingering is a unique fingering weight tweed yarn that is hand-dyed in Calgary, AB, Canada.
Donegal (the nubby ply that makes the tweed) is a unique yarn with a nod to the original Irish Tweed woven cloth of the same name. Built on the idea of a neutral super wash merino background with bits of color woven into the plies, the end effect will be a yarn with both tactile and visual texture.
NOTE: Even within the same dye lot, each skein is unique as a result of the hand dying process. Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, colours may vary slightly per hank. For larger projects using more than one hank of yarn per colourway, we highly recommend alternating skeins throughout the project to avoid unwanted tone transitions. Slight bleeding may still occur.
